OOTD: This Girl is on Fire

Yo! I have been doing way too much blogging lately for someone who should be revising for exams! But hey, what can ya do, eh! I might as well carry on with another outfit of the day!
About a week ago, Louise won tickets for us to see Alicia Keys at the O2 which was cool, and most exciting of all, it was an outfit oppertunity! (as sad as that sounds, it really did excite me!)
Sooooo this is what I wore to the concert.....

For someone who is not a big fan of pink, I seem to be wearing every shade imaginable!
Anyway...
The dress:  is from the kids section in Primark and I think it cost £8
The reason I decided to shop in the kids section was because things like skater dresses are always just a bit too long on me, so I thought I'd try shopping in the kids section and decided to try Primark first. That dress was the only one that I liked and so I bought it....and I think it is 10-11 years. Great to know I am the height of an 11 year old.... :') Plus, kids clothes are cheaper!
The shoes: are black strappy heels with cork platform and pink trim. They're from Boohoo and are £25. They are so easy to wear and walk in because the platform is quite big compared to the height of the heel. They are comfy and didn't hurt, even after I had them on for hours. Definitley recommend them :)
The accessories: The bag was a birthday present and my blog about it is here: http://sparklybluesandrainbowshoes.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/handbag-heaven.html . I also wore beauty UK pink nail varnish on my fingers and tootsies in 'No.31 Neon Pink'. And skin coloured tights from Tesco, THEY ARE THE BEST NUDE TIGHTS! Always buy them in Tesco! And now I've calmed down about tights...the skinny silver belt is from New Look and the lipstick is from e.l.f in 'sociable'

That's it then! The concert was good, as we're not the biggest Alicia Keys fans we swayed along to the songs, then left a bit early for Starbucks hot chocolates!

A Dress a Day 2 ~ Flamingo Dress

This is my second 'Dress a Day' post and today it is about my pink flamingo print dress! I don't actually love this dress but its alright and flamingo print is cool! Its just the shape I'm not sure about...sometimes it kinda looks frumpy! But I'm blogging about all my dresses so this one is going in there anyway!

So this is an idea of how to wear it during the day, I have put it with a pink bag from Next, it matches the dress which is from New Look, as it is also printed with flamingos (yes I have a flamingo print bag to match my flamingo print dress...lets just pretend that's normal...) I am also wearing brown heeled loafers...I brought brown in because of the brown bag straps, and white socks rolled at my ankles. The shoes are from New Look. If I was wearing this out I might wear a brown leather jacket with it.

Like any good Essex girl I have busted out the white stilletos *cringe*....so here I am wearing the dress with strappy white heels which adds formality to the outfit for the evening. As it matches so well I have kept the bag.
Also I would probably wear white pearly jewelery with this to match the white in the clothes!
Oh, and the shoes are from Parmars!

To be honest, I'm pretty proud that I remembered to do this post again today! Two days in and two dresses! OH YES!

River Island: BLACK STUDDED MOCCASIN SHOES

Right to start with we haven't blogged in quite a long time, its been so busy lately since Christmas with so many exams on (we had 3 science and 1 english exams that were rather important all in the space of 2 weeks) and because we would rather not be re-doing them all later we had to stop doing anything fun, to be honest it sucked and us being the worlds biggest procrastinators found our self getting distracted by anything and everything including sitting in Costa for 6 hours making our friend a scrapbook for her birthday. But anyway they are over now....well untill March anyway wooo!

So a few days ago I managed to convince my family to give me money to buy a new pair of shoes (which to be honest I didn't really need..) so I hopped on the train to Westfield and found myself with these "black studded moccasin shoes" from River Island which were £30.

This was quite an unusual buy for me as I usually prefer to spend money on clothes rather than shoes especially £30 on a pair of pumps which I thought were slightly over priced for River Island, but when I saw them they looked so nice. I'm not usually a fan of these shape shoes or studs so I was quite surprised when I actually liked them, but they go with most outfits, they can be worn with tights or on their own and they really jazz up a rather plain outfit. I think they are a great winter shoe because of their black colouring and also outfits can sometimes look a bit dull in the colder months as you find yourself wearing the same pair of dark jeans and winter coat so these add a bit of sparkle with the studs to your outfit.

When I looked them up online on the River Island website I didn't think the picture they had taken did them justice which is why I havnt put the website picture up but if you did fancy purchasing them online the link is Here!

I'm usually a size 8 in High Street shops but I managed to fit inside a size 7 and they were still quite big so maybe get a size smaller than usual, but they honestly are beyond comfy!
