OOTD: Bye Summer!

As sad as it is, summer is actually ending... :( But any excuse for an outfit of the day, huh!

I got most of this outfit when I went shopping in London yesterday to Camden, Covent Garden and Oxford Street, it was really good but now my feet are literally dead! It was a good mix of places to go as there are all the quirky unique things in Camden, high street shops in Oxford Street (even though I spent the whole time in Topshop) and Covent Garden has odd but cool shops! And I did stop off at Stratford Westfield on the way home because I was too lazy to find some of the shops I wanted in Oxford Street!
But by far, the best part of the day was having lunch at The Whole Foods Market! It was the first time I have actually eaten in there as before all I have done is spend half my day drooling over all the cakes, fruit, salad and uh just everything in there...I'm getting hungry just typing this!

Jumper: Gilly Hicks
Shorts: Topshop
Frill socks: Topshop
Shoes: Topshop
Bag: Old edition Radley

And I just clipped my hair back like this! :) Thanks for reading, hope you liked it!

OOTD: Let's go to the beach 'each!

We spent Tuesday sunbathing at Southend's beach and making the most of this AMAZING heatwave!
Not that the whole experience was as relaxing as it sounds....we decided it was a good idea to attempt to walk out to the sea whilst the tide was out and had to trudge through quicksand and sharp rocks which was disgusting and painful but we were proud when we got there! :') Not to mention that a Rossi's ice cream did kind of make it all better....
Anyway, this is what I wore for the day...

~Shorts: Forever 21
~Top: Primark
~Bag: M&S
~Sandals: Forever 21
~Hairband: Primark
~Sunglasses: Forever 21
~Belt: Primark

I bought these minty green shorts with pink ice creams on a little while ago in Forever 21 and really loved them because the pattern is fun but they also have a really good shape to them and were so comfy to wear! I was unsure of what to wear with them at the time but I had bought sandals in the green colour and pink sunglasses on the same day so I was just stuck on what top to wear. In the end, I went for this oversized white t-shirt from Primark (it is actually supposed to be tight but I bought it in a bigger size to wear it loose) I decided to accessorise the outfit with a pink handbag from M&S and a pink flower headband that I bought to wear to prom which is from Primark. And to finish it off wore a skinny pink belt with a gold bow on the front which I am pretty sure is from Primark, but it may have been New Look!

Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed it!

Topshop Playsuit

So we went after christmas sales shopping and totally abused them by buying stuff not on sale, but the sales weren't that good anyway -the pre christmas sales were actually better! Im hoping the sales get better when January starts but who knows...
Anyway I bought this shamazing playsuit from Topshop, it was £26 and actually from the swimwear section so it is probably meant for beachwear over bikinis and stuff. I worried that because of this it might be kinda see-through but it's not! Its definitely wearable anywhere in the summer! I definitely prefer dressing in summer because the clothes can be a lot nicer than winter and you don't need to carry coats, umbrellas, boots etc and what could be easier and nicer than a great playsuit!
I really like the pattern which is on trend at the moment and the colours work well together. I also think the style and cut would flatter a lot of body shapes as it has an elasticated waist and the bottom half has a nice shape to it.
The only thing was because it is from a swimwear section, it didnt come in actual dress sizes, it was Small, medium and large, which can be annoying as you dont know which one to get and it never fits as well as if you had your own specific size.
I will definitley be wearing it A LOT in summer and overall I would say GET YOURSELVES TO TOPSHOP!
