OOTD: This Girl is on Fire

Yo! I have been doing way too much blogging lately for someone who should be revising for exams! But hey, what can ya do, eh! I might as well carry on with another outfit of the day!
About a week ago, Louise won tickets for us to see Alicia Keys at the O2 which was cool, and most exciting of all, it was an outfit oppertunity! (as sad as that sounds, it really did excite me!)
Sooooo this is what I wore to the concert.....

For someone who is not a big fan of pink, I seem to be wearing every shade imaginable!
Anyway...
The dress:  is from the kids section in Primark and I think it cost £8
The reason I decided to shop in the kids section was because things like skater dresses are always just a bit too long on me, so I thought I'd try shopping in the kids section and decided to try Primark first. That dress was the only one that I liked and so I bought it....and I think it is 10-11 years. Great to know I am the height of an 11 year old.... :') Plus, kids clothes are cheaper!
The shoes: are black strappy heels with cork platform and pink trim. They're from Boohoo and are £25. They are so easy to wear and walk in because the platform is quite big compared to the height of the heel. They are comfy and didn't hurt, even after I had them on for hours. Definitley recommend them :)
The accessories: The bag was a birthday present and my blog about it is here: http://sparklybluesandrainbowshoes.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/handbag-heaven.html . I also wore beauty UK pink nail varnish on my fingers and tootsies in 'No.31 Neon Pink'. And skin coloured tights from Tesco, THEY ARE THE BEST NUDE TIGHTS! Always buy them in Tesco! And now I've calmed down about tights...the skinny silver belt is from New Look and the lipstick is from e.l.f in 'sociable'

That's it then! The concert was good, as we're not the biggest Alicia Keys fans we swayed along to the songs, then left a bit early for Starbucks hot chocolates!

Handbag Heaven

My first designer handbags RIGHT HERE! :)
The one on the left is a black Ted Baker bag which was bought for me for my birthday just over a week ago. It is patent and I am soooo careful not to scratch it! I really like its boxy shape and the quilted detail it has on the front compartment as well as all the way arounf the back of the bag. The gold accents such as label and zip etc contrast the black perfectly and makes it look especially expensive. My favourite thing by far about it is the pug print fabric lining all of the inside of the bag...I am totally obsessed with pugs and this was the perfect choice! Its an ideal size for day or night, not too big but would fit everything you should need. As it was a present, I dont know how much it cost but it was bought recently so I'm sure Ted Baker retailers are still selling it....I cant wait to use it and definitley recommend it as a staple black bag that will go with any outift and work for any occasion.

The bag on the right is a bottle green Ivanka Trump bag which I bought a couple of weeks ago while we were in America (ARGH!! :D) Its from Century 21 in New York and is worth $175 (around £115 at the moment) but Century 21 were selling it for just under $90 (almost £60) which I think is a pretty good deal! Again, it has gold details which compliment the colour of the bag and this bag has a lot of different compartments as it opens into three main slots and the middle one has a really big gold clasp which looks nice.
As they're my first designer bags that I've got new and probably will be the only ones for quite a while, I'm pretty excited to use them and think they are both LUSH!

Ted Baker PRETTY PETITE body gift set REVIEW

"Get your skin in perfect shape with Ted's selection of mini body treats. Featuring a miniature body spray, wash, scrub and lotion, it's the perfect way to prepare for a stunning debut."

I am not usually a big fan of bath/body gifts but when you get one good quality one, it is really exciting. I was given this gift set as a late Christmas present and used it for the first time last week.
As soon as you open the box the fruity smell is intoxicating....it smells so good! All of the products are mini versions as the set is called "pretty petite" (like me! ;) ) the body wash is light and cleansing, and the lotion is soothing and moisturising. The body scrub really does soften the skin which is perfect when used before the lotion, your skin will feel soooo soft. The body spray is probably my favourite thing as it smells perfect, it is a mix of "bergamot, red fruit, tuberose and patchouli" to be honest, I have no idea what any of that is but I do know that it smells amazing!
The box is also really pretty as its purple with a pink bow printed on and a ballerina on the side with the 'Ted Baker' logo, all of the products were perfectly packaged inside in pink tissue paper.

Overall I would just say WELL DONE, Ted Baker! It is PERFECT Petite!
